The Legal Department is responsible for keeping the public records, custody and maintenance of these files and will verify compliance with legal requirements for the registration of acts and documents subject to registration.
The Legal Department acts as secretary of the Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of allowing with its signature all the certificates issued by the entity on the public register.
Similarly, coordinates the collection of the customs of the commercial sites for its respective jurisdiction for the certification of their existence.
Besides, it administers the system of petitions, complaints and claims (PQR) and runs the Center for Conciliation of the Chamber of Commerce of Buenaventura.
